Progress:
I managed to get my photo shoot done this week, which allowed me to start getting on with my front cover, however, whilst in my photo shoot I realised that one of the tops didn’t fit my model, but he decided it was ok just for the photo shoot, because of this it saved me a lot of time trying to find another top. I had also managed to pick the fonts that I wanted to use, as well as making progress with the actual layout of my magazine. I bought a ‘match of the day’ football magazine which allowed me to look and see the layout and how everything was within a popular football magazine. I also managed to complete all of my coursework which meant that I had the foundations ready for my magazine front cover; such as the actual rationale and flat plan which were the basis of my idea.
As I was doing my magazine front cover I managed to familiarise myself with Photoshop and progressed quite well in terms of how I handled everything, I think I picked up some valuable skills which would help me with future products.
Targets:
My targets for this week were to make sure I had all of my sell lines and tag lines ready which meant coming up with suitable headlines and make sure the fonts went; I also had to try and link this with my football theme. I had also planned on getting most of my magazine cover finished to enable me to fully concentrate on writing my article in the following weeks. I want to familiarise myself with in-design as I am not fully comfortable with it as much as I am with Photoshop.
Contingencies:
In the coming weeks I have to make sure that my magazine front cover as well as my in-design layout is up to an acceptable standard, so that I can fully concentrate on magazine article. However, I may not be able to accomplish this as I have been behind my planned schedule which means I probably won’t be able to spend as much time on my article as I want, if this happens then I will be giving up more of my spare time and coming back top media at dinners and after college as well as using my free lesson to make sure I catch up to my planned schedule.
